SBBA JANET GREUEL SCHOLARSHIP

The Southeast Brangus Breeders Association provides a scholarship (Janet Greuel Scholarship) opportunity each year to a deserving college student or college bound high school senior. Any high school senior or college undergraduate who is a member of SBBA, or the son or daughter of a member of SBBA, residing in the 10 state region served by SBBA may apply. Applications may be requested from Norma Sword, 545 Scott Road, Williamson, GA 30292, by email to cnffarm@aol.com, or phone (770) 227-9241. The completed application must be returned to Norma postmarked no later than September 1, 2008.

JANET GREUEL SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT

Stephen Vaughan, Cartersville, Georgia was named the 2007 recipient of the SBBA Janet Greuel Scholarship. An active participant at many events including the Southeastern Regional Junior Brangus Show, National Brangus Shows, Georgia National Fair, and Georgia National Livestock Show he has been recognized many times for his outstanding performance in Livestock Judging, Showmanship and exhibiting Champion bulls, heifers and steers. Stephen graduated from Cartersville High School in December 2007, and received a Livestock Judging Scholarship to Fort Scott Junior College, Fort Scott, Kansas where he is currently a student.
